City Customer Offices closed for Youth Day
10 June 2025
The City’s customer offices will be closed on Monday, 16 June 2025, for Youth Day. Customers are encouraged to make use of the City’s various convenient online payment options.
The City's municipal offices, including cash, motor vehicle registration and licensing, Human Settlements offices as well as Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) and municipal courts will be closed on the public holiday. Customer offices in the Lansdowne Corner Mall, Liberty Promenade Mall, and Table Bay Mall will also be closed.
‘Our residents are encouraged to make use of our online options. We always remind residents to check the City’s website or to call ahead before visiting the nearest office if in doubt. Customers are also reminded that they can settle their municipal account by using the QR code on their invoice, which is embedded with their EasyPay number and outstanding balance, and allows access to the payment portal for an accurate, efficient and secure payment process.
‘We are committed to improving our customer office experience for residents and we again encourage customers to make use of our online payment options. Thank you to our account holders for their continued payments and support,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi.
